Internet news sites have their panties all up in a bunch due to a clever high school prank. At Ohio's Shaker Heights High School there is a media storm surrounding a controversial yearbook cover that has the phrase "Fuck y'all" encrypted in the cover artwork created by a student who has already graduated.

When I read this story I immediately had an lol-gasm. Most people are angry but anyone with intelligence can see the multiple levels of humor in this.

First off, this high school aged kid is so clever that he got his gag off right in front of the ever present eyes of school officials - score one for him. Secondly, most people only wish they could go back in time and tell their peers to fuck off - the only ones who don't want to do that are those folks who made life hell for everyone else (you know who you are - those people who still dream of the good old glory days of high school) - score two for the cover artist. Lastly, the people over at Shaker Heights High should be proud to such a clever mind. This guy made it so you have to turn the book upside down just to read the obscenity, then drew it in beautifully - beautiful enough to land the cover page of the yearbook.

One administrator interviewed by CNN said that students don't want to remember their high school years in that way (although most probably already do) - but believe me, that guy has just made high school memories a lot better for the majority of students. Now every time someone other than the head cheerleader or football captain looks back they will get a huge laugh and a funny story to boot.

This is the most brilliant thing to come out of the failing American High School system in a long time. So do you know what? I say give the guy some kudos and a big fat pat on the back. Because I know that you would love to walk up to that jerk that used to sit next to you in Biology and tell him, "hey man, fuck you!"

Congratulations unknown cover artist, you just made everyone's day a whole hell of a lot brighter!
