Reminiscent of the movie "Final Destination," a woman who was supposed to be on Air France flight 447, but was late for the doomed flight, was killed just over a week later in a car crash.

Johanna Ganthaler and her husband Kurt Ganthaler missed AF447 and took another flight home to the UK the next day after vacationing in Brazil. But their luck ran out on an Austrian road earlier this week when their car swerved into the path of an oncoming truck outside the town of Kufstein, the Times (U.K.) reported . Johanna was killed and Kurt received serious injuries.

Most of the reader's comments after hearing of the crash have been discussing how you can't escape death when it is your time to go. I prefer the comment of one reader in particular, "Stacy" writes:

This couple was blessed to enjoy their time and life as they had it here on earth one more week. I am convinced that their last week together was very special. Maybe our Maker knew there were a few people that they needed to touch before their departure.

Air France flight 447 mysteriously went down while crossing the Atlantic from Rio de Janeiro en route to Paris. All 228 people on board lost their lives.
