Jamil Wilson is going to University of Oregon

Today 6-foot-7 Jamil Wilson announced his intent to attend the University of Oregon. Wilson, a high school star basketball player out of Horlick High School in Racine, Wis., announced his decision on the two year anniversary of his mother Carolyn's death (due to cancer).
Many recruiters have touted him as an up and coming big name player and see huge potential. Wilson was also considering Texas and Michigan State, and although he had originally stated that he wanted to attend Duke he later strayed away from their recruiters.
Although the announcement was made today, it was only a verbal commitment which can later be retracted - but this is not expected to happen. The next signing cycle begins April 8.
